COVID 19 Message

To Our Valued Patients, New York and New Jersey are now open for ambulatory care, Allergy and Asthma Consultants of Rockland and Bergen (AACRB) will continue to closely monitor the evolving situation due to the COVID 19 pandemic and follow guidelines from public health officials and government agencies such as the state DOH and CDC. Our highest priority is the health and safety of our patients, staff, and community. We are therefore sharing with you the additional measures we are taking to protect patient and staff welfare in our practice.

Our practice is open to serve our patients. During this time, it is even more important that you continue to use your medications regularly as prescribed and monitor your symptoms. We are available via telemedicine or in office visit.
Patients with immunodeficiency diseases and elderly patients should preferably be seen via Telemedicine, please call your doctor to discuss your options. We will continue to see Urgent/ Sick patients, patients requiring allergy testing/ procedures, and patients receiving biologics and allergen immunotherapy in office.

Patients are advised to call before their office visit or injection appointments for screening of shortness of breath, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste/ smell cough, chills, fever, travel and personal or household COVID-19 exposure. If you or any member of your household have any symptoms of, or possible exposure to Coronavirus within the past 14 days, please stay home and call the Department of Health at 1-888-364-3065 (Rockland) or 1-800-962-1253 (Bergen).
If you tested positive to COVID 19 or believe you had or were exposed to COVID 19 more than 2 wks. ago and are currently asymptomatic, COVID 19 antibody testing is available.
All patients and visitors to our offices are required to wear face masks/coverings. The covering can be made of cloth (scarf/bandanna) and should cover your nose and mouth. They must also use hand sanitizer on entry to the office and practice cough etiquette.
All patients and visitors will undergo temperature check.
Wait and Exam rooms and office schedules have been reconfigured to optimize social distance.
Patients under the age of 18 or requiring assistance may only be accompanied by one adult/family member to reduce the number of people in the office.

Stringent disinfection procedures have been implemented to clean high traffic areas, exam rooms, and medical equipment frequently during the day.
Daily screening of staff is conducted to monitor for symptoms or change in health status. Staff practice appropriate hand and respiratory hygiene and use of PPEs.
Contactless payment is preferred, you can give us your credit card information over the phone before your visit. Please bring your credit card during your visit.
Asthmatics coming for an office visit should take their Peak Flow measurement at home before their visit and bring their albuterol rescue inhaler with them during their visit.
